Group Reservations

Additional terms and conditions apply to group reservations (for more than 10 persons). These terms and conditions will be advised at the time of the request or during reservation.

Seat Assignments

Seat assignments are not guaranteed and The Greek Life Inc. has no control over airline ferries seat assignments. Airlines and ferry companies reserve the right to change seat assignments at any time without prior notice, for any reason.

Airlines, ferries and cruises schedule changes

The Greek Life Inc. is not responsible or liable for any airline, ferry or cruise cancellations, schedule or time changes or delays. For air or ferry trips or cruises booked through The Greek Life Inc. only, our company will do its utmost to assist you if you are rescheduled, delayed or cancelled. The Greek Life Inc. is not liable for expenses that will occur if you miss your flight or flight connection.

Making your own flight or ferry arrangements

If you make your own flight or ferry arrangements, The Greek Life Inc. is not responsible for any loss resulting from cancellation or changes in itineraries, travel dates or times.

Cancellations by The Greek Life Inc.

The Greek Life Inc. reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any trip departure for any reason, such as insufficient participation, strikes, lockdowns, riots, stoppage of labour or Force Majeure event (see below section). In the event of a cancellation by The Greek Life Inc., our company will try, with your approval, to rebook the same trip on a different departure date or a similar trip. The Greek Life Inc. is not liable or responsible for any arrangements made directly by the clients.

Changes on tours

Changes made by the clients to the existing services of a tour, such as timings, tour services, meals, included sightseeing, etc. are not exchangeable for other services.

Punctuality on times

All guests are responsible for being on time for all tours’ departures and meeting points. The Greek Life Inc. is not liable for any missing tour, due to guests’ delay.

Force Majeure

The Greek Life Inc. is not liable for any cancellation, damage or change that occurred in the event of a Force Majeure event, such as:

• Fire
• Earthquake
• Very bad weather conditions
• Sabotage
• Strikes
• Acts of terrorism
• War
• Revolution
• Quarantine restrictions
• Decline of visas

Any other unforeseen circumstances that prevent The Greek Life Inc. from fulfilling its obligations

Special needs requirement

Any special requirements or moving difficulties should be reported to The Greek Life Inc. at the time of the reservation. In case such requirements arise after the reservation, The Greek Life Inc. should be notified as soon as possible. If The Greek Life Inc. does not receive special requirements regarding accessibility, safety or health reasons, our Company may be unable to accommodate you for part or all of the tour, cruise or any other service provided by The Greek Life Inc.

Accessibility

Certain activities or premises may be limited or inaccessible to guests with mobility issues. Many excursions and sightseeing involve extended periods of walking and standing and may include staircases, paths or locations that are inaccessible or of limited access by a wheelchair. Guests are responsible for notifying The Greek Life Inc. on time. Our company will make all necessary efforts to meet your special needs but cannot guarantee that it can accommodate you in all cases.

Personal services

The Greek Life Inc. does not provide personal services such as eating, dressing, toileting, lifting or pushing a wheelchair, walking or other private needs. If you need this kind of assistance, you should travel with a companion. We will be glad to quote for such services on an ad-hoc basis.

Authority to refuse or suspend participation

The Greek Life Inc. and/or any of its partners have the right to refuse or suspend your participation if it is reasonably believed that you:

• Are dangerous to others or yourself
• Have behaviors that may affect the safety, security, comfort, or enjoyment of other participants, suppliers, The Greek Life Inc. representatives or crew members
• Refuse to follow the rules and procedures of a tour

In the event you are suspended, you may be left at any city, port or place. The Greek Life Inc. will not be liable to cover any expenses for accommodation, medical care, meals, transportation or any other expenses.

Damage and Liability

The Greek Life Inc. has no responsibility for loss or damage to any baggage or personal belongings throughout the trip.

Dietary peculiarities

Any food allergies and nutritional medical conditions should be advised to The Greek Life Inc. upon reservation or well in advance, to notify everyone concerned (hotels, restaurants, cruises, etc.). For any other dietary peculiarities such as vegetarian, vegan etc., The Greek Life Inc. will do its utmost to accommodate but cannot guarantee.

Tips

In Greece, tips are not mandatory. It is up to the guests’ discretion to provide tips.

Holidays, special events and venue closures

Due to local holidays or events, the visit to various sites may be limited or not available. The Greek Life Inc. will indicate known closures upon reservation. If however a closure is not known in advance, The Greek Life Inc. will not be liable for site closure. Our company will offer alternative visits if possible.

Itinerary timings

Itinerary timings are not guaranteed and are subject to change at any time, without prior notice.

Optional Tours

Optional tours are not included in your reservation/main package and have to be booked separately. All optional tours are subject to separate terms and conditions which will be advised upon booking.

Possession of drugs and weapons

Any carriage or possession of drugs and weapons will result in immediate termination of your trip, without further obligation of The Greek Life Inc.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed in all interior places in Greece (hotels, vehicles, restaurants, museums, vessels, etc.) as well as in open-air archaeological sites. However, during your trip, there will be designated open-air areas for smoking.

Illness

The Greek Life Inc. reserves the right to suspend your participation if you have symptoms of illness or pose a threat to the safety and health of other participants. The Greek Life Inc. will not be responsible for any medical expenses incurred. You will be allowed to rejoin the trip only with a confirmed medical certification from a Greek Hospital or a diagnostic centre.

Medical staff

No medical staff travels with your group. The Greek Life Inc. cannot guarantee the availability of medical facilities during your trip. Any medical attention you will require while travelling with The Greek Life Inc. must be sought through a local medical facility if and when is available. All related charges are at your expense.

Motor coaches

While onboard the motor coach, wearing your seatbelt is mandatory. Alcohol and food consumption are not allowed while onboard.

Hotel changes

Hotels are not guaranteed before your final reservation.

Hotel bedding configuration

Hotel bedding is always subject to the hotel’s availability and structure.

Documents

It is your sole responsibility to obtain and have in your possession the proper and valid documentation required for your trip. You are also responsible for the cost incurred during your trip for missing, incomplete or defective documentation. The Greek Life Inc. is not liable for any loss or expense that occurs due to loss, damage or errant entry, exit or travel documentation.

Visas

It is your responsibility to verify if a visa is necessary for your trip and obtain it. Securing and paying for all visas, entry documents and any other requirements for entry into Greece is your responsibility. It is also your responsibility to carry these documents with you. Greek Life Inc. is not liable for denial of entry or exit or costs incurred for not having correct and complete documentation.

Travel Insurance

The Greek Life Inc. strongly recommends that travellers purchase a private insurance policy, covering any risks regarding eventual cancellation of travel due to a serious illness, medical intervention or accident, events that do not affect the charges against The Greek Life Inc. from its suppliers.

Claims or complaints

Any complaint or claim involving your trip or the services offered by The Greek Life Inc. should be sent in writing to our company and must be received within 30 days from the completion of your trip.

Responsibility

The Greek Life Inc. and/or their suppliers of services offer these tours for sale only on the understanding that they do not perform or in any way assume liability for the performance of the individual components of these tours, such as transfers, hotels, flights, ferries, cars, motor coaches, etc and act only to combine them into a single unit of sale for the convenience of the travellers. Therefore we and/or our suppliers are not responsible, either directly or indirectly, for any loss, accident or injury that may result from any act, omission, negligence in or responsibility for performing or providing these component services. The transportation companies concerned, take no responsibility for any act, omission or event during the time the passengers are not aboard their vehicles. Additional expenses incurred as a result of the delay, change of schedules, illness, weather, strikes, hostilities, quarantine, government requisition of hotel space, or any other reasons beyond the control of The Greek Life Inc. shall be borne by the passenger. The Greek Life Inc. reserves the right to substitute hotels of similar category if necessary and to alter itineraries.
